Tutorial 1:
Making a Simple Needle Felted Animal
Materials needed:
- Felting needle
- Wool roving
- Foam block or felting mat

Steps:
- Choose the color of wool roving that you want to use for your animal.
- Roll a small amount of wool roving into a ball shape.
- Use the felting needle to repeatedly poke the wool roving, compacting it and shaping it into the desired animal shape. Be careful not to poke yourself with the sharp needle.
- Continue adding more wool roving and felting until you've achieved the desired size and shape for your animal.
- Use a felting needle to add any additional details, such as eyes or ears.
- Continue felting until you're happy with your finished animal.
Tutorial 2:
NEEDLE FELTING MOULDS FOR BEGINNERS
Making a Needle Felted Flower
Materials needed:
- Felting needle
- Wool roving in various colors
- Foam block or felting mat
Steps:
- Choose the colors of wool roving that you want to use for your flower.
- Roll a small amount of wool roving into a ball shape.
- Use the felting needle to repeatedly poke the wool roving, compacting it and shaping it into a petal shape. Be sure to leave a small amount of wool at the bottom of the petal to attach it to the flower stem.
- Create several more petals in different colors and shapes, using the felting needle to attach them together by poking the base of each petal together.
- Roll a small amount of wool roving into a stem shape and attach it to the bottom of the petals using the felting needle.
- Continue adding additional layers of petals until you're happy with the finished flower.
- Use a felting needle to add any additional details or texture to your flower.
Note: Felting can be a time-consuming and labor-intensive process, so be patient and take breaks as needed to avoid straining your hands or wrists.
